The jewelry I've been making has been going in a store in Pa‘ia — Sand & Sea. Paia is a little surf town on the windward side of Maui, on the way to the famous surf spot, Ho‘okipa. It's a great shop full of island crafts and amazing wood carvings from Indonesia ranging in size from a few inches up to feet wide and tall. The owner, Kathy Irwin, is a friend and fellow co-worker at the print shop. She helps out a few days a week! She's graciously accepted to display and sell my wares at her shop. All items are sold.
Aloha! I'm Cheryl and I live on the island of Maui, Hawaii. My full-time job is graphic design and prepress production. Until 5 years ago, I had never heard of lampworking or flameworking. Now I just can't wait to turn on the torch and melt glass! And I'm totally having fun creating jewelry with the beads I've made. I hope you like my creations! All the beads and jewelry you see are for sale! Just email me and let me know what you like. If it is in fact sold, I'll do my best to create a custom design just for you!
Thanks for looking!
All my lampworked beads are properly annealed in a kiln for strength and durability.
